-Knitting- Poseable Unicorn

This was the unicorn that I did as an example for the KAL/walkthrough on my livejournal. He was a commission and therefore not for sale, but a similar unicorn or pony would cost about $50 to commission; this covers the materials, labor, and shipping costs.

This unicorn is fully poseable thanks to a wire framework throughout his body. He is knit from a soft, cushy acrylic yarn and stuffed with a combination of polyfill and polystyrene pellets in his belly. His luxurious mane, tail, and hoof feathers are hand-wigged with the same yarn, and his crocheted bridle is fully removeable.

His new owner will have the privilege of naming him; in my heart, though, I call him Gaudior, which means "more joyful".

Yarn: Hobby Lobby "I Love This Yarn!" in White, unspun from four plies to 2 - approx. 100 yds, plus small amounts of gray, red, and gold.
Needles: US 2.
Extras: 20-gauge jewelry wire; embroidery floss; polyfill; polystyrene pellets.
Size: ~5" at the shoulder, approx. 9" nose-to-tail.
